Velo Club Walcot

From their general page:

We are a welcoming club based in Bath, and we run friendly rides in surrounding West Country hills.

This website is your first port of call if you’d like to find out more about our cycling club, see what we’re doing soon, or what we’ve done recently. You’ll find information about what rides we organise, what sportives and races we plan to attend and when the next club events are. We’ve got a little bit about who we are and who to talk to if you want to find out more and some other stuff we think you might be interested in. Have a look around, spend some time with us in cyber space then come for a ride.

We started out in November 2006 with the aim of providing a friendly and accessible cycling club for any rider in the Bath area who wanted to ride with a group of like minded people. Like all sensible folk we enjoy starting our Sundays with a ride, and finishing our rides with a coffee, a chat and some hard earned cake.

Our Sunday Group Rides are just that, friendly, sociable rides at a reasonable pace for the whole club; if you start a ride with us you’ll finish it with us too. We organise competitive events and separate rides for our racers so we can keep our Group Rides as much fun as they should be.

We’re always happy to meet new people to ride with so please come join us.

We are also British CyclingCTT and WTTA affiliated, and have a core of members who are active road, time trial and cyclocross racers – if you fancy having a go, we’re more than happy to point you in the right direction.
