It’s what Thursdays are for

Thirty Mile Thursdays: If by the time you get to Thursday you fancy a day out, why wait for the weekend? Join us for an easy going ride of up to 30 miles, with good company, great scenery and cake to match, as we amble through quite lanes on our bikes. You don’t need lycra. You just need your bike! This Thursday, 22nd March we are going to Chew Lake and we are sure to see some birds. We snapped this one on our last ride. It’s amazing what you see from a bike. We leave every Thursday from Kingsmead Square at 9:30 prompt. Back early afternoon.  Everyone is welcome. Just turn up and ride. ffi Tony 07816 588287

“Thirty Mile Thursdays” launches mid week rides on 8th October

Lighten up your Thursdays by joining this new group for a jaunt into the countryside around Bath.  Starting 8th October we  will meet every Thursday in Kingsmead Square at 09:30 – except when it’s raining, when we recommend staying in bed with a good book. Our very first ride is to Mells Walled Garden via Two Tunnels and back on lanes.

You definitely don’t need lycra. You just need a bike! We don’t do fast. These are easy paced weekly rides on back lanes and cycle routes, so everyone is welcome. We just want to get some fresh air, a bit of exercise and have a sociable day out. We will usually stop at a café or pub, and we aim to be back by early or mid afternoon.

Some rides will be pre planned, some will be decided when we meet. Any one can offer to lead a ride, providing it is approximately 30 miles and avoids main roads!
