I cannot stress enough how important it is to turn up to this if you can. Even if you turn up, have your photo taken as part of a mass group of people then head back to whatever you are doing. The ride is symbolic and only about 20 minutes.
If you work, or live in Bath, we really want to get you all down to Kingsmead Square on June the 20th for 1pm to celebrate Clean Air Day and the joy of cycling.
We will leave the square, head down to the Bus Station, along Dorchester Street, up Manvers Street, around the Guild twice, then down Cheap Street back to the square. Bring bells, bring music. Let’s make some noise!

Meet at the council’s Clean Air Day Pop Up event in the Square for 1pm (running 11am-6pm). We should be off by 1:15 and back by 1:40. We will also be looking to get a picture of everybody on all their different bikes.
The first newsletter of City Cycle rider is now out, easy to subscribe, even easier to unsubscribe if you don’t like it

Is anyone up for a gentle ride through the city areas on quieter roads after dark? We take in some of the attractions you know and perhaps some you don’t. Lights are a must as some areas of the ride are quite dark, but quite safe. I have the route which was part of one we did in the summer. We should allow about 1 hour 20 minutes for the ride. We might even spot the first christmas tree in a window.
The date is Thursday 20 November at 6.30. Meet at the Nextbike Station, Orange Grove at the side of the Guildhall where you can hire a bike, if required.

20141002-Railway Path Closure 2014-OThe railway path at Teewell Hill in Staple Hill will be closed from Monday 6 October for approximately eight weeks. The essential closure has been scheduled so that our engineers can carry out the foundation works to widen the existing road bridge above the Bristol to Bath cycle and walking route.
There is also another drop in session being run by First in the Brunswick Room at the Guildhall in Bath from 4pm to 7.30 pm on Wednesday 15th October.
Another good opportunity to discuss provision for cyclists.
